The Great Sciences

      We,
the great sciences,
bow down today
to him,
who brought our home to our eyes.

Like the eye
separate from cognition,
we wandered about
separate from truth –
over the centuries,
over the millenia –
confusing each other,
since we were homeless.

This is our eternal fate,
as wherever we appear,
man is without wisdom,
and wherever he is without wisdom,
there we appear.

Since today man
has recognized the aimless aim,
we delightedly sink back
into our mother’s lap,
into the divine wisdom,

and we beg
that our names are forgotten.
